Delivery Information


This delivery policy gives details of the delivery methods, delivery periods and delivery charges that apply to orders for products made through our T H WHITE online store.

This policy is not intended to and does not create legally enforceable rights and obligations.  It merely indicates our usual practice in relation to the delivery of products.

Methods

We deliver to the UK mainland using various postal services and couriers depending on the product selected.  We also allow you to collect any product from a T H WHITE Agricultural, Construction, Dairy or Groundcare depot.

Timescales

We will endeavour to fulfil your order within 3 to 5 working days of receiving cleared payment. Where click and collect is selected, we will notify you as soon as the product is available for collection as we may need to draw stock from a different branch.

For postal orders, we shall endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as practicable, dependent on stock availability.

Please note our dispatch method depends on availability and we do include your invoice in a documents pocket attached to the item, which also acts as a shipping label.  This will show the contents of your order.  If you do not wish for this to be shown as it is a gift, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

If you place your order before 2pm on a working day, these periods run from the close of business on that day. If you place your order after 2pm on a working day, or on a non-working day, these periods run from the close of business on the next following working day.

These timeframes are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery by a specific day.

Charges

Delivery charges will be calculated and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process.  There are stated in GBP inclusive of applicable VAT.

Receipt

Items delivered by courier service will require a signature from a responsible person at the delivery address.

If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier delivery service providers will leave a card at your address, with instructions on how you may collect your product. Such instructions will include a time limit for collection.

If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the time specified on the card left at your address, then we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products, providing that we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery even where the initial delivery was free-of-charge.

An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:

 you provided the wrong address for delivery;

 there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible

the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed.
