Vitax Hydrangea Colourant 250g is specially formulated to turn pink hydrangeas blue by introducing essential iron and aluminium salts into the soil. Ideal for both outdoor and potted hydrangeas, it works best in acidic soil conditions, though can also be used in alkaline soils by doubling the quantity. Easy to use, the colourant dissolves readily in hot water and is mixed directly with the soil or watered in weekly during the growing season. Suitable from March to September, it helps achieve vibrant blue or mauve blooms depending on the hydrangea variety. Always handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
